To be a widow in India is seen as a taboo. Beyond Karma is a documentary film that chronicles the stories of some of the most vulnerable women in the world and the myriad of ways they persevere with resilience, resourcefulness, and hope.
Rainbow was inspired by our very own documentary feature, Beyond Karma. The film had such inspired the folk pop band, SHEL, to write a song and film a music video which we were able to film in India with the women of the film. The song is featured on VEVO and Spotify within their new album WILD CHILD.
